The School of Health Sciences Department of Occupational Therapy and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Malaysia have established an agreement for academic cooperation.
Associate Professor Kounosuke Tomori from the Department of Occupational Therapy invited Lecturer Ahmad Zamir Che Daud from the Department of Occupational Therapy at UiTM to a 2018 international conference, and this led to the agreement in hopes of facilitating student exchange and collaborative research between the two institutions. Lecturer Che Daud and Associate Professor Tomori have already secured a grant from the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, and intend to further their collaboration along with other university faculty members.
