Two presentations by Maeda Lab receive poster awards at the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology
Emiko Furuhata, a first year master's student in the Graduate School of Bionics and part of the Aesthetic Science Research Lab in the School of Bioscience and Biotechnology (supervised by Dr. Kazuhisa Maeda), received a poster award for her presentation at the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology (July 12th & 13th, 2014, at the Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort in Tokyo Disney Resort). In addition, part-time instructor Makio Akimoto also received a poster award at the same event for his presentation (jointly presented with university fourth year student Hikari Ikeda). This is the first time since 2011 that two simultaneous awards were received.
